SMART Recovery Australia invites participants, facilitators, friends & family of anyone touched by addiction to join us at the Sydney Recovery Walk 2015 – an all-ages free event helping end the stigma of addiction and celebrating all forms of recovery. This year NSW Premier Mike Baird will be joining the walk.
When is it?

Where do you meet?
11.30am – Meet at Customs House,
Alfred Street, Circular Quay
11.40am – Walk down Macquarie St to NSW Parliament House for speeches.
12.00pm – Then proceed to The Domain for Lunch and Celebration!
The Sydney Recovery Walk aims to celebrate the lives of people in recovery from addiction, recognise the recovery support services across Sydney, Australia & beyond. We hope to encourage people in recovery to come together & spread the message of hope, show that treatment works, & recovery from addiction is a lived reality in many people’s lives. We will also be walking to remember and honour the lives lost to addiction. Please join us in this worthy cause.
Featuring: All pathways to recovery, whether it’s 12Steps, SMART, Faith Based, Family Groups, LGBT, Rehabs, Mental Health, Communities, Industry, Employees, Anyone touched by addiction recovery. All are welcome.
