About BeSMART

BeSMART assists anyone who is affected by the addictive behaviour of someone close to them. The focus is on the supporter to improve their own quality of life, develop their coping skills and build support systems.

BeSMART focuses on participants’ personal strengths and aims to increase their resilience. It enables participants to boost motivation and implement change, engage in self-care, challenge their own thinking, and communicate assertively.

BeSMART provides strategies for participants to stay safe, seek support, problem solve, develop coping techniques and set personal goals.
