Smart Recovery is a voluntary self-help group that assists people in recovering from alcohol, drug use and other addictive behaviours. SMART Recovery teaches practical skills to help you deal with problems enabling you to abstain and achieve a healthy lifestyle balance.

Our 90-minute groups are ‘open’ so anyone can attend for as long or as little as they like. Participants are given the opportunity to discuss difficulties, challenges, accomplishments and successes while focusing on goals. The groups do not spend time going over the past but rather they focus on the present and work on making changes to improve the individual’s lifestyle.

SMART Recovery teaches practical tools and techniques for self-directed change.
